Common issues

Dense reconstruction fails or runs out of memory

Lower the quality preset, close other GPU applications, and confirm VRAM estimates in the app before dense stages. See system requirements for hardware tiers.

COLMAP or GDAL not found (source install)

Ensure COLMAP, GDAL, and PDAL are on PATH. See documentation for Windows path layout and the Terapetra engine conda environment (`terapetra-engine` / `tpe`).

Windows SmartScreen blocks the installer

Early-access installers may not yet be code-signed. On Windows, choose “More info → Run anyway” if prompted, and always verify the SHA256 checksum on the release notes page before installing.
